We believe that it is possible to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people and nations.
We can’t do it alone, but we can certainly do our part.
We mainly collaborate with the mission organization EKM (The Gospel to all Nations). Our focus is leadership training and “Festival Nights”, where we preach a simple gospel accompanied by signs and healings. We also invite people to become followers of Jesus.
Often these festival nights gather thousands of people, many who have never heard the gospel before.
Our focus has been Indonesia, the nation with the largest number of Muslims in the entire world.
We also support a training center (Bible school) in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, visiting the school and teaching the students. Our mission is to encourage the staff at the school as well.
The gospel is the most
superior message of all.
The gospel is “good news” what God already has done for all people through Jesus Christ. We reach out with the gospel by
• Personally inviting people to the church
• Just loving people around us in our daily life
• Media, especially social media
• Events in the city, many times together with other churches
• Taking part in nationwide campaigns
During the years Vaasa Citychurch has been involved in mission work in
• India
• Thailand
• Indonesia
• Estonia
• Russia
• Nigeria
• Kenya
• Tanzania
• Uganda
• Rwanda
• Israel
